Art Terms of Service

  • You must be over the age of 18 to commission me.

  • When ordering you must have a concise and clear reference sheet. (N/A if you are commissioning a ref sheet)

  • If you do not have a refsheet I will on occasion work from a very easy to read description.

  • Base prices listed are subject to change according to the complexity, difficulty, size and medium of each individual piece.

  • Payment must be made in full before any work is started. Payment will be taken either via Paypal Invoice, or for larger projects bank transfer can be offered.

  • Clients will have the opportunity to ask for changes of their commission in the sketch stage.  Changes can be made free of charge during this stage before I will then refine the drawing. A fee will incur should the Client want more than three sketch redraws. Edits are no longer free after lining has been completed, unless it is due to Artist error.

  • If the Client has paid and wishes to cancel their commission before any work has been done, they will receive a full refund. However please be sure you can commit to your commission before enquiring so as not to waste my time and yours.

  • If the Client wishes to cancel their commission during the sketch/ink stage they will be refunded 50% of what they paid.

  • If the Client wishes to cancel their commission during or after the colouring stage they will not be issued a refund.

  • On completion, the Client will receive two versions of the image; the unwatermarked original resolution for private use and a resized, watermarked one for web use. The Client may upload the smaller image only, and may not remove the Artist's watermark.

  • Under no circumstances may anyone other than the commissioner of an image upload said image to their own FA gallery. Groups and individuals on sites such as Tumblr, e621, Facebook etc may share the image if linked credit is given. Characters belong to their respective creators and should not be used without permission.

  • Clients must ensure emails are written in clear English to ensure no miscommunication of details. Any details missed due to Client error, poor quality reference images or miscommunication are not the fault of the Artist.

  • The Artist reserves the right to refuse a commission, or issue a refund and cancel a commission due to poor communication, rude or inappropriate behaviour, inability to communicate in effective English, or if the client is found to be a minor.

  • The Artist ensures the Client will receive updates on commission when necessary. Public updates will be made on my Trello

  • Subjects the artist will not draw includes but is not limited to:

           - Non-con, underaged characters in a sexual situation, hateful/prejudice imagery
           - The artist may refuse a commission based on any content they find unpleasant.

           - Extreme kinks are not an automatic refusal but must be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

  • The Artist retains the right to display all commissioned work on any personal website, gallery, or journal. If the commissioned work is a time-sensitive gift the Artist may delay public showcase at the request of the Client. Should the Client want the image kept private and not uploaded a fee of 30% will be added for loss of revenue.

  • The Artist retains ALL the rights to the commissioned artwork, including the right to make prints and merchandise. Image rights can be negotiated for an added fee. (The artist will ask the character owner before creating printed artwork, fyi!)

  • The Client retains all rights to their respective characters.  This does not allow them rights to the commissioned image (see two above bullet points).

  •  The Client may create prints for personal use (display in their home or as gifts).  Client may also resize or crop the artwork to create icons, wallpapers, or other graphics to be used in non-commercial digital format, but the Client cannot alter the artwork itself. The Client may also upload the artwork to their personal website or gallery, but credit is required, and it must be the resized version of the artwork only.

  • The Artist may recycle sketches and concept works that were rejected by the Commissioner for other commissions or personal works.

  • The Client must read, understand and agree to all the above terms before entering into an agreement with the Artist. By sending payment, the Client agrees to the above terms.

Terms of Service is based on and borrows from the concise TOS of Eskiworks (Wolf-Nymph @ FA) and Tazara (Tazara @ FA)
